I left my previous opticians due to bad customer service despite their strong brand name.I stepped into iCare in Luton and was approached by Krishan who was very friendly, not pushy and explained everything very clearly. The optometrist was excellent, answered my questions and alleviated my concerns around eye health.Krishan then helped me select the right pair of glasses and since then I have received excellent after care from him. In general this branch is great and I'm glad I chose iCare!Thanks guys 🙂

My recent experience

My eye test was very thorough, as usual, but the measurement of the height of the reading lens in the main pair of the two pairs of my bifocal glasses was wrong and had to be redone.So more attention needs to be given to the exact specification required for each pair, when two pairs are being relensed because they are likely to be slightly different. The staff though are as always very polite and accommodating.

Not really very happy

I've been with this optician for as long as they been in the Arndale, the name over the door has changed a few times but its essentially the same shop/owner. I've always had a very good relationship with them.... until my last visit. I had the usual eye test & new lens were recommended. They are varifocals, so not the cheapest. To keep costs to a minimum I asked to keep my existing frames & was told the bill would be about £400 (I can't remember the exact figure). I agreed to pay this, but left feeling this was very expensive. Further investigation led me to believe this wasn't an appropriate cost so I challenged the cost & got the branch manager (Daniel) involved. Daniel was very professional and courteous and eventually agreed they would also replace my lens in my sunglasses at no extra cost. Whilst this did go someway to appeasing me, I'm not 100% sure I'd go back & may shop around next time.

The lenses we offer are some of the best on the market and this is reflected in the price that you would pay.
